TIME

 time ....If we think for a second . Time is simply a measurement ..time is where we are..it like number line. But you can’t turn around that’s the difference . Time is a boring topic to talk on earth but why is time so special in space ? 

Well space is invaded by time . Time is in many forms in space and this is the place where time gets really weird and you can see all types of science fiction coming to life here ..time is the key factor for our existence . We are inside time , time is the 4th dimension according to Einstein.  time cannot be controlled by us . Well that’s not the only reason why .

According to Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity time is 4th dimensional and time can bend !       Time can bend ! , that means now we can somehow you can slow time down ! Cool! But how ? 

Well everyone is similar with the term “ space time “ aka space . This thing bends when there is a mass bending it . Let’s make it simple 

According to general relativity gravity is not a force but it’s the bend of space time . It says that when an object like sun with huge mass is placed in space time . It’s mass and weight makes the space fabric bend .and because space doesn’t have any forces or energy . So an object moving around a sun will stay there .. ( hopefully ) 

That’s the reason black holes are holes and as u go deep it bends space time soo much that it becomes a small point with infinite density and near to no volume . ( singularity) 

When going near a black holes time passes slowly .. very very very slowly and you age slowly because of the speed . Yes speed affects the time .. more the speed less the time passes . There is a fact which says if 2 people are 15 years old and booth are twins .. if u send one to space for 5 years while other on earth . U will that the person who was in space after coming back to earth will be 20 . But , the twin on earth would be older than him , in this case 65 . This is just an assumption of age . The twin in space was travelling near to speed to light which made this fluctuation happen .. 

Gravity and speed affect time in space . This is the point where light factor becomes interesting ..

If an alien 300 million light years away from us would be looking at you from a devise , he would actually be looking at dinosaurs!! .. what happened there ?! 

Light years means distance that light travels in a year . So if a person 300 million light years away looking at us would be looking at the light which reached his eyes 300 million years ago .. in other words the light which earth sent in space 300 million years ago reached his eyes now .. that’s really cool! 

Light also hides through gravity bends and other factors so it can never be exact 300 million years .. 

light takes 8 minutes to travel from sun to earth so the position of the sun which u are looking is actually the position of sun 8 minutes ago . Because the light which was emitted by the sun 8 minutes ago reached ur eyes now .. 

In some cases light can also bend .. yes light can also bend 

Do you know gamma ray bursts can destroy a planet ! 

Time also travels faster for your face than your feet ! , according for relativity theory .( assuming you are standing up ) a year on the top of mt.Everest is 15 microsecond shorter than at the sea level .
